Our ingredients are all of the highest quality. Our chocolate is true Belgian chocolate, with 100% cocoa butter and no vegetable fats. The hazelnuts of the Sea Shells praliné filling is made by Guylian, starting from the raw handselected hazelnuts from the best Mediterranean growing regions.

In our production unit in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, we combine our rich Belgian chocolate heritage and the mastership of our chocolatiers with modern production methods. We strictly follow all international food safety and hygiene regulations. Raw materials and finished products undergo quality control on a regular basis, continually being tasted and assessed for quality.

Just in time delivery

Because freshness is so crucial, Guylian has developed a "Just in Time" production and logistics system with speedy delivery worldwide, so all products maintain their full taste and freshness. Guylian's unwavering focus on quality, freshness and service ensures a strong brand image and an enviable reputation with our customers.

Quality certificates

In 1996 Chocolaterie Guylian was certified for the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Certificate and was one of the first companies in the Belgian Chocolate industry to achieve this. In 2001 the ISO 9001 certificate was upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 standard and is renewed every year after an extensive audit.

In 2003 Chocolaterie Guylian was certified for the BRC (British Retail Consortium) Certificate, which is renewed every year.

In order to guarantee food safety and quality according to international standards, Guylian implements HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures at every stage of their ingredient preparation and production processes, as well as throughout the packaging and the logistics chain.
